Newborn

Newborn sessions are my joy.

These sweet, brand new little angels are my muse and photographing them simply and genuinely makes my day. I like to spend some time every day learning to perfect my craft. I simply love photographing newborn babies!

Newborn sessions are designed for babies up to 5 weeks old but is best done in the first 2 weeks. The best day to photograph your little one is between day five and day fourteen. During this time newborns tend to be sleepier and retain that fresh curl.

Once you arrive I will give you some time in my studio to feed and soothe your baby. As soon as baby is happy and sleepy we can get started. During your session, I will pose and handle your baby with the utmost care. There is no need to worry if you are not feeling 100% yet. I will soothe, swaddle and ensure baby is kept happy. These sessions usually last 2-3 hours.

Then once your images are ready I will invite you back to the studio for your viewing session. This is one of my favourite parts of the process as I love to see Mum and Dad’s reactions to the images we have created! At this session you will choose your wall art, prints, albums or any additional items you may wish. I will discuss all of the options with you and help you select the right images and the right products to suit your needs. We offer payment plans on all of our collections and have products to suit everyone’s taste and budget.

Bookings

The Newborn Session Fee is €125, payable upon booking. This Session Fee includes your time spent in studio for the creation of your images. Session Fees do not include any finished products. Our Framed Prints start at €125 and our Print Packs start at €155. Full details of all the products we offer can be found here

We usually book babies in for their due date +7 days and then, if needs be, we can adjust the date if baby arrives early or late. Short and Sweet Newborn Sessions

For those with Smaller budgets we also offer our Short and Sweet Newborn Sessions. A 1 hour session including 5 High Resolution Digital Images

As these sessions are much shorter than our regular sessions we focus solely on baby, in various wrapped poses. These sessions don’t include parent or sibling shots—instead we focus on getting some beautiful images of baby all wrapped up!
